Eurosmart appoints Stefane Mouille as new President

Stefane Mouille will succeed to Didier Sérodon (representing OT_morpho at Eurosmart), who has initiated an in-depth work within the association, notably by developing a global culture of cybersecurity for the emerging IoT market and by contributing to the future European framework for cybersecurity certification.

Stefane Mouille has been working in the digital security industry, cyber security and contactless phone applications (NFC) for 17 years. He actively takes part in international projects related to digital infrastructure in the followings fields: banking, mobile telephony, consumer products and governmental projects.

After completing a Bachelor in Industrial Computing Sciences at the Edinburgh Napier University, Stefane Mouille graduated from ESC Wesford Grenoble in Marketing and Management. Stefane Mouille also holds a master degree in Political Sciences from the Institut d’Etudes Politiques of Aix-en-Provence.

The newly-elected President is committed to making Eurosmart’s 20-year long success continue: “Eurosmart has a long history, it was created by the pioneers of smart security, more than two decades ago and has been developed by its members to reach the fabulous milestone of 10 billons units of secure element shipped this year.”

Stefane Mouille embodies an ambitious vision of Eurosmart as an association which is constantly evolving to match current technological and societal changes.

The new president will ensure that the association stays at the forefront of cybersecurity: “The work on security certification and labelling will be deepened, especially in the context of the new proposal for a Regulation on ENISA and on an ICT cybersecurity framework. Eurosmart will promote the adoption of multi-level schemes and will strive to guarantee that current high security standards, such as the SOGIS MRA principles, are reflected in European schemes.”
